LOCATION: HYDERABAD

A product design engineer is needed to design, program, prototype, build and test Electronic Products (Audio Devices, Camera Devices, & Communication Related Devices). The engineer will be responsible for the Schematic design and R&D board bring up (should have soldering expertise) and they will oversee the initial manufacturing.

The engineer will take a key role in researching, developing, and commercializing our Hardware Products. The product design includes general analog and digital circuit design, interfacing microcontrollers to sensors and actuators, audio devices, camera devices, controllers and testing with the help of firmware developers. The applicant will need to be as comfortable with hardware debugging tools.

Basic knowledge in Electronics, Speakers, Audio Amplifiers, Computer Operating system & other IT products.

Advising on vendor/OEM development strategies

Ideally you are an Electrical and Electronics engineer with overall 8+ years of work experience in Research and Development department with an exposure to audio and video related components. You can be from Mobility/EV/Automobile/Consumer Durable Industry. Candidate with some patents or research publishers to his name would be preferred.

End-2-end Audio feature design, development, prototyping, performance validation and commercialization of new audio features/technologies that meet performance, power, robustness and stability metrics.

Should be able to program the application to automate the detection.

Should able to develop prototypes on IOT platform and demonstrate the application to the client

Evaluate various state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and recommend the best fit for case-to-case basis

Key Skills

Designing product with 8 /16 / 32 bits Micro-controller & its peripherals.

Solid background in digital signal processing (DSP) fundamentals.

Strong programming skills and debugging in C/C++, Python and experience in Windows and/or Unix/Linux development environments.

Experience in Matlab coding and scripting

Expertise in developing and debugging software on embedded platforms

Knowledge of DSP/CPU architecture, operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms

Worked on IoT modules will be an added advantage

Experience in Video firmware is a plus

Analytical capabilities to support engineering decisions.

Proven ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment

Quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently, and a Team player.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.

Must have very good knowledge of Embedded C, and Firmware

Experience in RTOS, CAN, and IoT

Programming Skills in C++ is an added advantage
