We are committed to providing our guests with exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences. As part of our growth we are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

Job Overview:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas. You will lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff maintain inventory and supplies and uphold our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:


Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff including room attendants laundry attendants and public area cleaners
Train and develop team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service
Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources
Inspect guest rooms public areas and backofhouse areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards
Maintain and track inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment ordering replacements as needed
Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures including health and safety regulations
Assist with budgeting and cost control for the housekeeping department

Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and techniques including cleaning chemicals and equipment
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Proficiency in English both written and verbal
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred
