We are looking for a friendly and efficient School Secretary to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing school office operations providing administrative support and ensuring smooth communication between staff students and parents.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and handle inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage and maintain the schools administrative records including student files and staff documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments meetings and school events.
- Handle telephone calls emails and correspondence efficiently.
- Assist with student enrollment and registration processes.
- Prepare and distribute school communications including newsletters and notices.
- Maintain and order office supplies and equipment.
- Support school staff with administrative tasks and document preparation.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures in all administrative functions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in office administration or a related field (advantageous).
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role preferably within an educational environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and office equipment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
