We are looking for a dedicated and personable Customer Service Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers addressing inquiries and concerns and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone email and inperson in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information about products services and company policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process orders returns and exchanges as needed.
- Maintain and update customer records and ensure accurate documentation of interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve service.
- Handle customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.
- Perform other administrative tasks related to customer service as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in customer service communications or a related field (advantageous).
- Proven experience in a customer service or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel) and customer service software (e.g. CRM systems).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
