Junior Bookkeeper

We are looking for a diligent and detailoriented Junior Bookkeeper to assist with the daytoday financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge good organizational skills and a passion for working with numbers.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with recording financial transactions (invoices payments expenses etc.).
• Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
• Reconcile bank statements and track cash flow.
• Assist in preparing financial reports (profit & loss balance sheets etc.).
• Help with VAT calculations and submissions.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
• Assist in other finance and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in bookkeeping or accounting (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g. Pastel QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
