Job Description
- Making fabric CPS and negotiating prices,
- Evaluation and conclusion of fabric tests and analyzing tests and process improvement in the dyehouse
- Supporting the buying team in problems that arise in fabric or garment manufacturing
- Carrying out the fabric development process
- Analyzing the qualities found by the Design and Buying teams in shopping, recommending similar qualities in accordance with our standards, following the development of the fabric in the appropriate manufacturer and sampling it
- Keeping sample fabric costs under control and ensuring efficient use of sample fabrics
- Creating a fabric library in line with seasonal trends and renewing it on a seasonal basis
- Keeping in constant communication with fabric manufacturers, informing the Design and Buying team about the latest trends in fabrics, new qualities and stock fabrics
- Identifying the fabric qualities predominantly used by competitors and informing the Design and Buying teams by supplying color charts or samples of these fabric qualities
