About the Role: Were on the hunt for a dynamic Technician & Mechanic to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll handle skilled maintenance and repair of all Public Works Department vehicles and equipment and maintain the Town garage. Youll work under the general supervision of the Superintendent and Highway Division Foreman with significant autonomy in decisionmaking regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Your Mission: Perform skilled repairs and maintenance on gasoline and diesel engines including engine overhauls brake and suspension work electrical system repairs and clutch replacements.

Operate and document a preventive maintenance program keeping detailed records of all work performed on vehicles and equipment.

Repair power equipment and tools such as compressors jackhammers and mowers.

Order and manage parts inventory prepare and maintain repair records and assist in developing vehicle specifications.

Operate vehicles for snow removal and sanding during winter plowing and perform emergency highway operations as needed.

Ensure safe practices in vehicle servicing maintain a daily log of activities and update the Computer Maintenance and Management System.

What You Bring: Skilled in repairing and maintaining gasoline and diesel engines. Experience with brake and suspension work electrical system repairs and clutch replacements.

Ability to operate and document preventive maintenance programs. Experience with power equipment and tools such as compressors jackhammers and mowers.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong candidates who are local to the Job Location are preferred.

Bonus Points For: Experience in snow removal and sanding operations. Familiarity with Computer Maintenance and Management Systems.
