As the Deputy General Manager you will be at the forefront of our journey to build the company from the ground up for a Global Data Center Super Main Contractor. This role requires a strategic thinker and a handson leader who is passionate about overcoming challenges and navigating complex regulatory environments. Your primary responsibilities will include company setup regulatory compliance and managing government affairs all while working closely with our leadership team to establish a strong foundation for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Company Setup & Operations: Lead the establishment of our new business entity in Thailand including legal financial and operational setup.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local regulations working closely with legal advisors and government bodies.
- Government Affairs: Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials regulators and key stakeholders to support our business objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute business strategies that align with our longterm goals.
- Leadership: Mentor and guide a growing team fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee critical projects ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in highlevel meetings negotiations and public forums.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong background in regulatory compliance government relations and business setup.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English; proficiency in Thai is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on longterm business growth.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of building relationships at all levels.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of Thai culture and business practices is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Law or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
