Welder Fabricator

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate according to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding methods
• Operate fabrication machinery such as brake presses shears and plate rollers
• Assemble large fabricated units
• Set up and adjust welders identifying steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes
• Recognize common steel alloys and apply the appropriate welding procedures

Qualifications:

• Three years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel aluminum and stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of welder setup steel wire alloys and gas mixes
• Experience with operating brake presses shears and plate rollers is preferred

• Fulltime onsite position with a 10hour shift schedule
