Tech Lead

About the Department

The Development team is part of the Development Department and consists of people spread between Norway and Poland. Although in different locations we work very closely with each other and always strive to improve our development practices. We collaborate with the QA team and UI/UX designers as well as with product management.

Role Objective

Responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers ensuring the timely delivery of highquality software products while fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement. You will be the main technical person responsible for our Taskline platform and will play a significant role in its shape and architecture. You will have an opportunity to influence all technical aspects related to this platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tech Leads Platform Manager and Dev Managers to define common architecture to ensure software is scalable maintainable and meets the needs of the stakeholders
• Responsible for designing and implementing teams software according to architecture defined above
• Responsible for identifying and prioritizing technical debt
• Provides technical guidance and support to the team members ensuring that the team deliveries are of high quality and following our standards
• Keep up with the latest technology trends and foster a culture of learning within the team
• Collaborate with Tech Leads across teams to continuously improve the way we are adopting new technology and improving standards/best practices

Your Experience

• Bachelors or Masters in Software Development
• Technical leadership skills
• 8 years of experience in the field of software development
• Experience with working in an agile development process
• Experience in monitoring production environments
• Excellent understanding of CI/CD frameworks and pipelines
• Experience in integrating external APIs like open banking KYC AML
• Having an AWS certification would be a great advantage
• Experience with below:
  • Node.js and Expressjs
  • Angular and Angular Material UI
  • MySQL and Redis
  • AWS in general

Your Profile

You have experience with leading the development endtoend of an application from its beginning to monitoring how well it behaves in production. You have a good understanding of how to make sure the application scales. You are focused on code quality and are a strong supporter of test automation.
