Devops Engineer

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to analyze and optimize processes.
• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems.
• Manage and configure cloud infrastructure using AWS Azure or GCP.
• Implement and manage containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve and optimize the infrastructure.
• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning.
• Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
• Participate in oncall support and incident response as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python Shell or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative and agile environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications in cloud platforms and DevOps tools are a plus.
• Experience in an agile development environment is preferred.
