Overview

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing GCP and VMwarebased cloud solutions and architectures.
• Leading the integration of GCP services with VMware technologies to achieve seamless hybrid cloud environments.
• Developing and implementing best practices for cloud and virtualization infrastructure security and operations.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to evaluate technical requirements and provide scalable and reliable solutions.
• Performing infrastructure and application migration to GCP and VMwarebased environments.
• Optimizing cloud and virtualization architectures for performance cost and scalability.
• Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Providing technical guidance and leadership on GCP and VMwarerelated initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud and virtualized environments.
• Participating in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling to meet business needs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to GCP and VMware environments.
• Documenting architecture design processes and procedures.
• Staying updated with the latest GCP and VMware technologies tools and best practices.
• Participating in the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies for cloud and virtualization environments.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Professional certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and VMware technologies.
• Proven experience as a cloud architect or similar role with a focus on GCP and VMware environments.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud and virtualization solutions using GCP and VMware technologies.
• Indepth knowledge of GCP services VMware vSphere NSX and other relevant technologies.
• Experience with cloud migration hybrid cloud architectures and cloud networking.
• Proficiency in cloud security identity management and compliance in GCP and VMware environments.
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure as code automation and orchestration tools.
• Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful cloud and virtualization projects and implementations.
• Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and evolving technological landscape.
• Relevant experience in capacity planning performance optimization and cost management in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in GCP and VMware environments.
• Experience in documenting technical designs procedures and best practices.
