A General Manager in construction materials oversees the entire operation of a company involved in the production distribution or sale of construction materials. You will be responsible for strategic planning team management financial performance and ensuring the companys compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement longterm strategic plans aligned with the companys mission and vision.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Oversee the development of new products or services.
2. Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
3. Operations Management:
• Ensure efficient and effective operations including production distribution and customer service.
• Oversee quality control and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics.
4. Human Resources:
• Recruit hire and train qualified staff.
• Develop and implement performance management systems.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
5. Sales and Marketing:
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and clients.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in business administration engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5 10 years in the construction materials industry preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
