Senior Java Engineer With DevOps Ss

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop maintain and optimize software applications using Java with proficiency in the Spring Framework and DropWizard.
• Work with Kotlin and be open to incorporating it into your workflow.
• Manage and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes (Helm) and AWS cloud services.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (using CircleCI or similar tools).
• Ensure robust application performance security and scalability.
• Collaborate on cloud networking and security practices.
• Utilize Git for version control and work with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL (experience with Redis is a plus).
• Work with GraphQL and Apollo Client for efficient data queries and API management.
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit testing and integration tests.
• Monitor application health using tools like NewRelic Datadog and SumoLogic (familiarity with ArgoCD BugSnag and Databricks is a plus).
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups sprint planning and peer reviews) and contribute to a continuous learning environment.
• Be open to participating in oncall activities (12/7 or 24/7) as needed.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and DevOps practices.
• Proficient in Java with experience in the Spring Framework and DropWizard.
• Familiar with Kotlin and open to learning new languages and technologies.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes (Helm) and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation (experience with CircleCI or similar tools).
• Familiarity with networking and cloud security best practices.
• Proficient in Git and experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL Redis).
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like NewRelic Datadog and SumoLogic (knowledge of ArgoCD BugSnag and Databricks is advantageous).
• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and participating in team ceremonies.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• A proactive team player with mentoring skills and adaptability.
• Willingness to participate in oncall activities as required.

Job Conditions: Fulltime environment 100 % remote contract base for 12 months with extension.
