DevOps Engineer

Position Summary:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines automating processes and managing infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development system administration and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development operations and security teams to streamline code deployments and system integrations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Ansible or AWS CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure including AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize system reliability and scalability.
• Automate repetitive tasks processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement and maintain configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all DevOps activities including access control encryption and vulnerability management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes configurations and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools technologies and industry trends to continuously improve practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or Travis CI.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud including relevant services like EC2 S3 RDS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of version control systems particularly Git.
• Strong understanding of networking security practices and system administration.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with experience working in crossfunctional teams.
• DevOpsrelated certifications AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator are a plus.
