A leading provider of commercial agricultural and personal lines of insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager / Office Manager for their satellite office in Port Townsend. This dual role involves managing a book of personal lines business while also overseeing office operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at crossselling managing referrals and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire renewal process for each personal lines account from start to finish.
- Handle all crossselling and upselling opportunities taking referrals and writing new business.
- Negotiate with carriers process certificates and endorsements issue ID cards and bind policies.
- Oversee office management duties including opening and closing the office.
- Maintain a professional inoffice presence Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
- Ensure excellent customer service for walkin clients and maintain relationships driven referral business.
- Meet goals of selling 1015 policies a month without a strict quota.
- Collaborate with the Edmonds office for commercial lines support when needed.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager including full management of the renewal process.
- Strong background in office management with the ability to open and close the office.
- Familiarity with carriers such as Mutual of Enumclaw Progressive Nationwide Safeco Cincinnati American Modern Grange etc.
- Experience with highrisk companies like Dairyland Kemper Foremost insurance is acceptable but not preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to process various insurance documents efficiently.
- Proven track record of relationshipdriven sales with no requirement for cold calling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Captive agents with relevant office management experience are encouraged to apply.
