About the role
As a Commercial Intelligence Analyst at Cropster your primary responsibility is to support the commercial team by providing actionable datadriven insights that inform sales strategies optimize market positioning and enhance competitive analysis. You will play a crucial role in shaping the companys approach to market challenges and identifying new growth opportunities through meticulous analysis and strategic recommendations.
What youll do
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze extensive data on market trends competitor activities customer behavior and industry developments. Use this data to generate insights that will drive Cropsters commercial strategies.
- Support Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide databacked insights that shape sales strategies identify potential market opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor market conditions including emerging trends shifts in customer preferences and competitive movements. Provide timely updates and reports to the commercial and senior management teams.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct indepth competitive analysis to benchmark Cropster against key industry players. Identify areas where Cropster can differentiate itself and gain a competitive edge.
- Insights Presentation: Synthesize complex data into clear concise reports and presentations. Effectively communicate findings and strategic recommendations to nontechnical stakeholders including the commercial team and senior leadership.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work crossfunctionally with marketing product development and strategy teams to ensure that market intelligence is effectively integrated into broader business decisions.
We are looking for someone with
- A Bachelors degree in Business Economics Data Science or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in market analysis business intelligence or a similar role preferably within the B2B sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel SQL or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities.
That said wed be particularly delighted to hire someone with
- Experience in the coffee industry or within a B2B SaaS environment with a solid understanding of the industrys dynamics and customer behaviors.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and business intelligence tools such as Tableau Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Experience working closely with sales or commercial teams with a proven ability to influence strategy through datadriven insights.
