Overview
Our client is looking for an Insurance Account Representative to join a fullservice insurance company in Ayer MA. This role assists clients with selecting purchasing and managing personal insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage and protection.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts including homeowners auto renters and umbrella policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and processing policy changes.
- Review client accounts at renewal time and proactively remarket accounts to find the best coverage options and pricing.
- Work with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate policy terms and conditions.
- Educate clients on insurance coverage options and assist in selecting appropriate products based on their needs.
- Handle claims reporting and follow up on the resolution process to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate client records in the agency management system.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with uptodate information and advice.
- Meet or exceed sales and retention goals set by the agency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
- Active state insurance license in personal lines or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
