Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Contribute to database design and system architecture.
• Participate in data migration transformation and scripting processes.
• Work on database performance tuning and optimization tasks.
• Support quality assurance processes by writing and executing SQL scripts for testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting databaserelated issues.
• Participate in the documentation of database processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior developers and database administrators on various projects.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
• Assist in adhoc data analysis and reporting tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
• Programming experience in languages such as Python Java or C#.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
