Overview

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing mechanical systems components and tools
• Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and test mechanical solutions
• Conducting research to inform the design and manufacturing processes
• Performing cost estimation and ensuring projects stay within budget
• Overseeing the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
• Developing and testing prototypes to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
• Creating technical documentation and reports for mechanical designs
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure product quality and integrity
• Participating in project management activities including scheduling and resource allocation
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly engineering solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Providing technical support and expertise to internal and external stakeholders
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technical staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in mechanical design analysis and testing
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics fluid mechanics and material science
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Exceptional problemsolving abilities and a detailoriented mindset
• Experience in technical documentation and report writing
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
