Our client is looking for a Tax Administrator who will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence managing property tax invoices and overall support for the tax team.
This position requires a fulltime onsite presence in Rochester NY.
Responsibilities
- Receives identifies and sorts all incoming tax mail daily
- Monitor track receipt prepare payment and store notices and property tax bills
- Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Efile sales and use returns ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
- Generate tax related forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requests
- Maintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Provide administrative support to various tax team members as needed
- Support the tax team handling tasks such as courier arrangements and mail pickup
Qualifications
- Degree or Certificate in accounting finance or related field (preferred)
- 2 years experience in similar role
- Requires a fulltime onsite presence in Rochester NY
