Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of radiology services
• Leading and mentoring a team of radiologists technologists and support staff
• Ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of radiology equipment and technology
• Overseeing the interpretation and reporting of radiological images
• Collaborating with other departments to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Establishing and enforcing protocols for radiation safety and protection
• Managing departmental budgets and resources
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing training and development
• Participating in the selection and implementation of new radiology technology
• Implementing quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Developing and maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
• Participating in research and staying updated with advancements in radiology

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree and board certification in Radiology
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a radiology department
• Expertise in various radiological modalities and techniques
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Demonstrated strategic planning and project management abilities
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Experience with performance evaluation and staff development
• Ability to adapt to technological advancements in the field of radiology
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Capability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Current licensure to practice radiology
