Overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of finance and accounting professionals to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
• Review and analyze financial data including budgets income statements and variance analysis to provide accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support financial decisionmaking and strategic planning
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Provide guidance and training to team members to support their professional development and improve overall team performance
• Manage the monthend and yearend close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Participate in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets and forecasts
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices
• Lead special projects and initiatives to support the overall financial goals of the organization
• Resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
• Act as a liaison between the finance team and senior management to communicate financial performance and make strategic recommendations
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the finance and accounting team
• Ensure adherence to internal policies external regulations and financial reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Proven experience (5 years) in finance and accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Indepth knowledge of accounting principles financial regulations and reporting standards
• Strong understanding of financial analysis budgeting and forecasting processes
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate coach and mentor a team
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Keen business acumen and the ability to make sound financial decisions
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards in financial reporting and integrity
• Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment
