Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect
Our client in the insurance industry is hiring eight Senior Solutions Architects to design and implement strategic architectural solutions across multiple corporate functions. This hybrid role based in Toronto requires inoffice presence three days a week. Successful candidates will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver architectural packages tailored to various portfolios including marketing finance HR and legal.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $70.64 to $84.12 based on experience.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm*.
*Occasional evening (7:30 pm to 10:30 pm) or early morning (7 am to 9:30 am) availability required for Asia portfolio support depending on business needs or scheduled meetings.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with corporate teams to align and reuse architectural strategies across business lines.
Define strategic architecture and resolve any technical gaps.
Provide architectural recommendations and guidance to executives.
Deliver architecture initiatives to drive revenue and efficiency aligned with business strategies.
Analyze risks and provide solutions to mitigate delays or technical issues.
Research and recommend new technologies to enhance future product architectures.
Ensure consistency in architectural artifacts (e.g. system and data flows conceptual designs).
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in computer science business or related field or equivalent experience.
8 to 10 years of experience in large or complex system integration projects.
8 to 10 years of expertise in software platform or infrastructure architecture planning.
Deep understanding of integration and architecture technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms particularly Microsoft Azure.
Agile development environment experience.
Strong knowledge of API design integration patterns and cloudbased architectures.
Proficiency in integration technologies (APIs ESBs microservices etc.).
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities.
You will support one of the following function groups depending on your expertise:
Function Group #1 (3 positions): Marketing & Digital Global Operations & Procurement HR Employee Experience Global Communications Corporate Real Estate
Function Group #2 (3 positions): Finance Treasury Actuary & Reinsurance
Function Group #3 (12 positions): Global Risk Legal Compliance Government Relations Audit
