Registered Dietitian

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to clients primarily focusing on weight management.
  
• Conduct virtual consultations to assess clients nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans.
  
• Educate clients on effective strategies for weight management behavior modification and lifestyle improvement.
  
• Monitor clients progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  
• Maintain accurate and uptodate client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  

Qualifications:

• Required:
  

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
    
  • Active licensure in your state of residence with the ability to obtain additional state licenses for telehealth if needed.
    
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient or weight management setting.
    
  • Strong knowledge of evidencebased nutrition interventions for weight management.
    
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills for engaging clients in a virtual environment.
    
  • Proficient in using technology for telehealth consultations (Zoom EHR systems etc.).
    

• Preferred:
  

  • Experience with telehealth or virtual client management.
    
  • Specialized certifications in weight management behavior change or related areas.
    
  • Familiarity with motivational interviewing and other behavior change techniques.
    

Hours:

• Parttime: 1525 hours per week.
  
• Flexible schedule options with weekday availability (MondayFriday).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 $35.00 per hour based on experience and credentials.
  
• State License Reimbursements: For any required licenses not already held by the RDN.
