Tasks

• Lead and execute strategic analytical and data engineering projects (esp. implementing a selfservice BI infrastructure) coordinating closely with business and technology teams.
• Deep dive into the downstream impact of customerfacing applications by extracting transforming and analyzing large transactional datasets.
• Design develop and maintain scalable data solutions including ETL pipelines data warehouses and reporting tools to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Create and optimize dashboards reports and visualizations using a BI tool (currently Grafana) ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Champion best practices in data management reporting and analysis with a focus on data integrity efficient test design validation and thorough documentation.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for adhoc analysis reporting and data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to define data structures and requirements for new features across our apps and internal systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data modeling data warehousing (e.g. ClickHouse) and building robust ETL pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation along with knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL or similar.
• Scripting experience in Python for data processing automation and analysis.
• Handson experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana Tableau or Power BI.
• A degree in a quantitative field such as Economics Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Engineering or Physics.
• Business proficiency in German.
• Fundamental understanding of key business metrics related to finance operations/supply chain management and marketing.
• Familiarity with lowerlevel programming languages such as C#.
