Job Description
Our client is a wellestablished chartered accountancy practice based near Pembury Tunbridge Wells. They are seeking an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful Accounts Semi Senior will ideally be AAT qualified and/ or ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience. This is a mixed tax & accounts position ideal for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant or Accounts trainee looking to join a growing team. Within this position the successful SemiSenior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. They will also be offered AAT/ ACCA/ACA study support.
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients
- Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- General bookkeeping using cloud software Xero QuickBooks Sage etc.
- Supporting the directors with adhoc advisory work
- Assisting more junior members of staff
Requirements
- You will be AAT qualified or part qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience
- You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
- Experience of cloud software such as Iris Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
