Exclusive to TPF Recruitment were recruiting on behalf of a fantastic independent firm of chartered certified accountants based in Pembury Tunbridge Wells who are searching for a parttime Senior Accountant to join their successful team. You will have a handson position delivering accounts management accounts tax VAT bookkeeping and planning services to a varied portfolio of clients across Kent Sussex and the SouthEast. You will have the opportunity to work either 34 days per week. Full time applicants will also be considered.

- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and ltd companies.
- Preparation of Corporation tax returns
- Preparation of Personal tax returns
- Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting junior staff members work where required
- Dealing with client queries and specific requests
- Assisting Partners as necessary with existing and new client queries
- Managing a portfolio of mixed clients
Requirements
- Suitable applicants for this part time Senior Accountant position will be any of AAT ACA ACCA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in accountancy practice working within small or medium firm background and/or Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
- You will be likely to operating at Accounts Senior level or similar delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders partnerships and limited company clients across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
