Our client is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their Healthcare team in the Los Angeles CA office.
The ideal candidate will have 25 years of civil litigation experience and a familiarity with medical malpractice or elder abuse law. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Providing legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients
- Handling all written discovery from service to completion
- Preparing for and attending trials as needed
- Communicating professionally with clients colleagues and opposing counsel
- Capable of developing and carrying out overall litigation strategy
- Proficient in all aspects of written discovery and depositions
- Experienced preparing and arguing motions
- Able to handle pretrial preparation responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and analysis
The salary range at the time of posting is $140000$160000 annually based upon a fulltime work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors including but not limited to employee qualifications relevant experience skill sets training internal equity and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
