Our product
Dealflow is a nextgeneration invoicing platform for online entrepreneurs and the only of its kind to offer free global transfers instant payouts and workflow automation in one place.

This role in short: Be the right hand man to the CEO grow into a leader over time and shape the future of finance for entrepreneurs and SMBs everywhere. At the same time we are working to make sure you never have to work again after Dealflow.

• Youll significantly shape our product market fit. Its day 1 for us so youll get a chance to make our product your product.
• Were remote first. You get to live anywhere in the CET2h timezone. Overall we always try to make life really easy for you. We do meetings when theyre really needed. Not by default.

Tasks

What were looking for in general

• Spiritual maturity: A truly good person with a strong character equally strong values and an ability to build trusting relationships in a highstress environment. This is a must for us as we value spiritual capitalism.
• Analytical intelligence: Analytical genius who is highly comfortable with numbers. You should be a techsavvy and highly intelligent professional experienced with automation and an obsession for details. Learning fast is your superpower.
• Hunger: We are exceptionally motivated people with a strong growth mindset and a bravery that allows us to aim for #1. The only way to thrive in our team is to bring the same or even more hunger to the table. We do not match well with fixed mindsets.
• International mindset and growth oriented personality with a strong tendency to thrive outside the comfort zone.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Nativelevel performance in english is required
• Highly proficient with financial lingo and terms is also required

Responsibilities

Financial operations

• Manual payouts to customers
• Manual collection and marking of deposits
• Manual debt collection reminders etc.
• Stay in close contact with our fractional CFO
• Build FX strategy
• Ad hoc customer support

Analytics & excel modelling

• Help the founders stay on top of all important numbers with automated analytics
• Financial modelling budgeting and forecasting with good visualisations
• Cooperate with founders on fundraising strategy decks etc.

Credit & treasury management

• Establish and maintain our credit line
• Maintain our treasury with rigor and obsession over detail
• Stay on top of all relevant topics

Compliance

• Stay on top of all relevant topics
• Handle pending compliance requests
• Work hand in hand with our compliance expert
• Ad hoc customer support

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as an operator in a ScaleUp. Bonus points for:

• Exposure to FinTech ()
• Exposure to fundraising
• Exposure to international payments
• Exposure to credit and SMB lending
• Exposure to accounting

3 years of experience in the following data modelling tools

• Python SQL Excel
• Bonus points for exposure to tools like Metabase ETLtools similar to Weld etc.
• Bonus exposure to data pipelines

3 years of relevant experience from top tier IB management consulting or a high growth startup environment

Relevant tier 1 Bachelor / Master program required. We make an individual assessment for each case on what relevant tier 1 means. We do also make exceptions here in rare cases.

How will we assess things

We care about dialogue. In many cases we might learn more about you from the questions you ask us than we do from the questions we ask you.

Our steps:

1. Initial interview with Seb (30 45 minutes). Lets talk about what makes you you. And your accomplishments so far.
2. Second interview with Sid. Run us through your technical abilities. Were a product first company so this is important.
3. Final interview with Seb (1h)
4. Reference call with 3 of your (former) colleagues. At the same time youll get to talk to one of our investors and one of our advisors. There you can ask any question you like.
