Job Description

Overview:

The Social Media Specialist plays a vital role in creating and maintaining the online presence and reputation of the company. They are responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness drive website traffic and generate leads. The specialist will continuously monitor measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns to optimize strategies and improve engagement with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage social media marketing campaigns
  • Write engaging social media content
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends and their impact on the brand
  • Execute a resultsdriven social media strategy
  • Engage with the audience and build an online community
  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts
  • Analyze and report on key metrics to provide insights and drive decision making
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Stay uptodate with current technologies and trends in social media design tools and applications
  • Identify and engage with potential brand advocates
  • Research and implement new social media tools and best practices
  • Assist in the development of brand voice and online personality
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Respond to comments and customer inquiries in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text image and video)
  • Knowledge of SEO keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication interpersonal and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
  • Positive attitude flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Graphic design skills and photography experience are a plus
