Job Description

Overview:

The General Manager HR plays a crucial role in overseeing the human resources function within the organization ensuring the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the overall business objectives. This position carries significant responsibility as it directly impacts the organizations talent management employee engagement and overall culture.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Leading the HR team and overseeing all HR functions including recruitment onboarding training and performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with labor regulations and keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices
  • Handling employee relations issues and conflict resolution
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Participating in strategic decisionmaking processes as a member of the senior management team
  • Managing and optimizing HR operational budgets and resources
  • Implementing employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive work culture
  • Leading organizational change management initiatives
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of talent acquisition and retention strategies
  • Providing leadership in performance management and talent development
  • Overseeing the compensation and benefits programs
  • Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Preparing reports and presenting to senior management
  • Ensuring HR systems and technologies are effectively utilized and maintained


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Master s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role
  • Proven leadership experience in creating and executing HR strategies and initiatives
  • Indepth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Strong understanding of talent management organizational development and change management
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of driving HR operational excellence
  • Experience in designing and implementing performance management processes and tools
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HRrelated software
  • Relevant HR certifications such as SHRMSCP or SPHR will be an advantage
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Highly developed analytical and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
