Job Title: Manager – Capital Markets

Through a combination of capital products partnerships and technology we have created a platform that connects millions of borrowers to mainstream debt investors. Our operations span across multiple asset classes offering a diverse set of debt opportunities in sectors such as microfinance small business loans affordable housing finance vehicle finance agricultural finance consumer finance midmarket corporate finance and others.

Since our inception we have enabled over USD 11 billion in financing to over 200 partner organizations through 140 reputed domestic and global investors. Additionally we manage multiple Alternate Investment Funds with a cumulative AUM of USD 200 million gaining recognition for our innovative product structuring.

Job Objective:

This role involves marketing and placing structured transactions playing a key role in expanding access to the debt capital markets for emerging asset classes. The primary responsibilities include:

• Investor Relations:

  • Develop and maintain a strong investor franchise for our transactions.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive database of a wide range of investors including mutual funds banks NBFCs private wealth managers insurance companies pension funds and offshore investors.
  • Arrange meetings with potential investors and present/pitch our transactions and asset classes.
  • Conduct regular followup calls and meetings with current and potential investors.
  • Build and nurture deep relationships with investors.

• Transaction Marketing and Placement:

  • Market and place structured transactions with debt capital market investors.
  • Understand investor requirements and market feedback and communicate this to the structuring team for new structures.
  • Negotiate terms pricing and documentation and manage endtoend transaction closure.
  • Provide posttransaction support to investors and inputs for transaction structuring and new asset classes.

• Industry and Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a sound understanding of the sectors and entities represented through field visits data analysis and interactions with internal teams.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the products including regulations tax excel modeling and documentation.
  • Stay at the forefront of gauging investor appetite for new asset classes/products and provide feedback to structuring and origination teams.

• Networking and Representation:

  • Network within the industry representing the company at conferences and seminars.
  • Create visibility among debt capital market investors.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: 36 years in investment banking or corporate finance.
• Skills: Strong sales experience and networking skills with existing networks in public sector financial institutions (banks and insurance companies).
• Knowledge: Understanding of structured products and an interest in financial inclusion and the opportunities in this space.
• Educational Qualification: MBA or CA.
