Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new customers proposing tailored financial solutions and creating business opportunities while strengthening relationships with corporate customers with an aggregate turnover of up to 300 crore. This role involves leading the preparation of Term Sheets drafting Proposal Notes guiding them through the approval process and overseeing documentation disbursals monitoring and collections across a broader geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:

    • Lead client relationship initiatives across the Bengaluru region.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the corporate finance sector.
    • Structure and oversee financial solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Client Identification & Sourcing:

    • Identify prospects within the region evaluate their creditworthiness and establish strong relationships.
    • Maintain and grow partnerships with CAs DSAs and other local partners to ensure a consistent and highquality deal pipeline.
    • Understand and address clients' financial goals challenges and opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Manage and nurture relationships with corporate clients in the Emerging Corporate segment across multiple locations.
    • Expand the client base and lead crossselling initiatives for financial products and services.
    • Identify and drive new revenue streams within the corporate finance sector.
  • Deal Structuring:

    • Collaborate with clients to structure financial deals that meet their specific needs.
    • Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Credit Solutions:

    • Offer and manage credit solutions including working capital facilities overdrafts term loans and other financial products.
    • Continuously assess and mitigate client credit risks across the portfolio.
  • Portfolio Growth:

    • Lead portfolio growth initiatives by crossselling financial products and services.
    • Achieve and exceed budgetary targets for Net Interest Income (NII) and fee income.
  • Financial Analysis:

    • Analyze financial statements credit reports and market trends to assess client performance and risks.
    • Provide strategic insights to enhance client portfolios and support business growth.
  • Compliance:

    • Ensure strict compliance with all audit regulatory and company regulations processes and policies across the region.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Degree: Postgraduate in any discipline preferably MBA/CA.
  • Experience: 712 years in a relevant field with demonstrated success in managing sales across multiple locations.
