Job Description

We are hiring now a Registered General Nurse for a nursing home in Wicklow Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To deliver personcentered efficient and effective care to residents.
- To uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice and foster a compassionate atmosphere that meets residents physical emotional and spiritual needs
- Building ties with every one of our residents family members and guests to guarantee that assistance and comfort are always provided
- Ensuring that every employee is aware of and follows all Healthcare policies
- Guarantees adherence to the established policies and procedures for the management administration and storage of all medications.
- Care Centre is completely compliant with HIQA requirements; knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards as well as the capacity to participate in the inspection process
- Make sure all home admissions are handled properly and that all necessary paperwork is filed.
- To provide continuity of care communicate with medical specialists as needed when a resident is released into the community.
- Daily management assistance is given by CNM1/ADON/DON.
Requirements
- Registered on the Irish Live Register (NMBI). Must have an active PIN
- Has clinical experience working in Gerontological Care or Residential Nursing Care
- Working experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013
- Fluent in English language (verbal and written) and be eligible to work in Ireland
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Work well with and lead a care team
