Job Description

On Behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Construction Scheduler

Role Overview:

Support the PreConstruction and Procurement Department by ordering materials and plant equipment in line with business requirements ensuring adherence to best practices costeffectiveness and timely delivery. Provide comprehensive support to maintain high standards and meet deadlines.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Perform material takeoff from drawings.
  • Compile a Bill of Materials based on quantity takeoff and communicate discrepancies to the relevant teams.
  • Reconcile with tender quantities to identify any under or overestimations.
  • Schedule materials for the purchasing department manage the order register prepare projectspecific order schedules and liaise with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure timely site delivery.
  • Collaborate with Technical Purchasing and Project teams.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of roofing and faade products.
  • Work to program targets.

Person Specification:

Education:

    • Minimum Bachelors degree in Construction Engineering Architecture or a related technical field.

    Experience:

      • Experience with roofing and faade products is highly advantageous.

      Skills:

        • Proficiency in IT including Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
        • Strong organisational skills.
        • Excellent attention to detail.
        • Effective communication skills.
        • Ability to work independently.
        • Strong team player.
