UXUI Design Intern

ParetoLabs is looking for a creative and motivated UX/UI Design Intern to join our team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about usercentered design and interested in creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You will work closely with experienced designers and developers to develop innovative solutions for our client projects.

Founded in Zurich the Microsoft for Startups partner has been bringing together the most innovative technologies with the specific needs of Swiss companies since 2023.

Tasks

• Assist in the design and optimization of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research and create personas and user journeys.
• Develop wireframes mockups and prototypes to visualize design ideas.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Participate in design workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creative solutions.
• Assist in creating design systems and style guides.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Recently graduated or currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design Interaction Design Media Design or a related field with a focus on UX/UI.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of common design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD or similar programs. Initial experience with prototyping tools is an advantage.
• Creativity and ProblemSolving Skills: Passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics with the ability to develop creative and userfriendly solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English or German with the ability to present design ideas clearly and collaborate within a team.
• Proactive Learner: Enthusiasm for new design trends and technologies with a desire to continuously improve your skills.
