We are partnering with a leading Transportation & Logistics provider in Jeddah to find an experienced Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all staff budgets and operations of the business unit. This role requires strategic leadership to ensure the companys growth operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is focused on revenue management and business growth with essential experience in Hajj & Umrah services.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage key partners and stakeholder relationships.
- Support clients in creating valuable relationships that enhance business success.
- Work with government agencies trade bodies associations and other partners to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure conflict resolution and maintain strong strategic ties with key partners.
- Develop sales and marketing efforts including new client prospecting and proposal development.
- Uphold the companys brand reputation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create longterm strategies for cost reduction process improvement and service level enhancement.
- Establish maintain and monitor internal controls subject to internal audit review.
- Ensure compliance with local and regional legislation.
- Apply strong moral and fiduciary principles in business operations.
- Assist in setting up operational processes policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute business plans budgets and balanced scorecards.
- Cultivate key supplier relationships to meet performance targets.
- Provide guidance for transportation solutions and internal productivity improvements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards.
- Set and evaluate performance targets regularly to ensure continual improvement.
- Lead the business unit with a focus on colleague wellbeing.
- Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to promote a highperformance culture.
- Perform other duties as required commensurate with the roles level of responsibility.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years experience with at least 5 years as a General Manager Managing Director or CEO.
- Strong analytical ability and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business processes and functions (finance HR procurement operations IT etc.).
- Strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to devise impactful strategies.
