Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes as well as the ability to lead a team of welders effectively. The Welding Foreman will be responsible for overseeing welding operations ensuring quality and safety standards are met and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
. Supervise and coordinate the work of welders
. Ensure that welding operations are carried out according to established procedures and safety guidelines
. Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
. Train and mentor new welders
. Coordinate with other departments to schedule and prioritize welding tasks
. Maintain welding equipment and tools
. Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements:
Proven experience as a welder
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines
Certification in welding is a plus
