Job Description

The Sales Assistant provides support to the Regional Sales Manager by supporting projectactivities related to all projects. The positions main duties are to support the Regional Managerto ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clearcommunication to all stakeholders. He/she reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

The Sales Assistant must understand all stages of sales processes. The Sales Assistant will givesupport to the Sales team by maintaining a collaborative relationship with internal and externalstakeholders prepare required documents and by giving assistance during the tendernegotiation and delivery process.


Key responsibilities:

  • Support of all projects in the Iberian Market (Portugal Spain).
  • Create project reporting and other project documents.
  • Support the Regional Sales Manager and ensure Sales processes are implemented.
  • Provide support during tender process.
  • Provide support during final delivery stage Predelivery Inspection.
  • Assist all projects with customer communication commercial and technical interactions.

Daily tasks:

  • Develop a trusted collaborative partnership with colleagues and customers.
  • Support coordination in all projects in the region and ensure crisp information flow to allinternal stakeholders.
  • Maintain project status and issue lists.
  • Ensures all project documentation is accurate and uploaded into internal and externalsystems.
  • Address questions/concerns throughout the project
  • Perform tasks required by the Sales Manager for successful project achievement.
  • Track project changes and updated schedules.
  • Track the progress of all new and ongoing projects and maintain up to date notes.
  • Organize compile and submit support documentation on completion of project.
  • Submit any required information to the client as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Report to the Sales Manager for all issues.
  • Be capable to replace the Sales Manager and Sales Team for shortterm coverage ofproject.
  • Assist the tender team in Iberia region.
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
  • Manage travels according to company rules.

Profile:

  • 2 years of experience in a Sales Management Office or similar role with provensuccessful records of assisting or coordinating multiple projects/customers of varyingsizes in parallel.
  • Solid knowledge of the automotive preferably the eBus market.
  • Strong and effective written verbal and interpersonal communication skills in
    Chinese English and Spanish.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to organizational problem solving.
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce BBA or the like will be considered.
  • Must be teamoriented possess a positive attitude and work well with others.

Nice to have skills qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant experience in similar B2B sectors.
  • Portuguese language skills would be appreciated.
  • Experience with High Tech Startup / Electric Vehicles / Alternative Energy / Batteries.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with an international team.
