Position: Assistant Equipment Manager

• Liaising with container rental companies to acquire new contract for buying/leasing the container.

• Working on import plan with agents to reduce empty repo cost to the desired location.

• Manage all idling container assets in the region (including damage sale/off hire) to reduce the operating cost.

• Timely approval of EOR segregate units by grade wise Upgrade units based on the shippers requirements

• Preparation and submission of M&R collection / recovery report

• Meeting dept and organizational goals

• Liaise with FLOs depots leasing companies on pending M&R approvals turnaround of damage reefers any disputes tt may arise esp from leasing companies after offhiring

• Ensure each depot to adhere to KPI set eg Inspection repair cycle etc.

• Ensure all FLOs promptly update their TMS container transactions within KPI set.

• Conduct regular audit with depots to ensure internal KPIs repair standards / criteria are properly followed

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of work experience from the same field.

• Any graduate preferred candidate from shipping industry.

• Good knowledge of MS Office Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong interpersonal communication (both written and verbal)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good organizational skills and meticulous

• Ability to work independently and meet tight datelines.

• Able to communicate in English
