Superintendent Process Improvement

• Analyze current ship management processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies and initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
  
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and continuously refine processes for optimal performance.
  
• Collaborate with QHSE teams to integrate safety and regulatory requirements into process improvement initiatives.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  

• Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception through to completion.
  
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful project implementation.
  
• Develop project plans set milestones and track progress against goals.
  

• Work with the Training department to ensure understanding and adoption of new processes.
  

• Work closely with ship managers operations teams and other stakeholders to gather input and feedback on process improvements.
  
• Maintain effective communication channels to ensure alignment and support for improvement initiatives.
  

• Work together with the Technology department to drive the implementation of digital solutions and
  
• innovations to streamline operations.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• You are currently working as a technical or marine superintendent with sailing experience as Chief Engineer or Master.
  
• You have at least one years shorebased experience focusing on operational improvement or Safety & Quality function of a shipping or ship management organization.
  
• Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and projects.
  
• Experience with project management lean methodologies Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
