Makeup Artist

Job Summary

This role will be responsible to perform make-up services to the highest standards, building a loyal clientele base, achieving both service and retail targets and supporting the salon management and team in the day to day running of the business
Skills
• High School/ Diploma.
• Preferred documented professional development over your career.
• Preferred conversant in languages other than English.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience performing makeup services on a luxury cosmetic counter.
• Proven sales record on high end brands.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering customer excellence.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
• Sales-driven with the ability to achieve targets and demonstrable sales and retail experience.
• Ability to work cohesively with other employees as part of a team.
• A high level of professionalism and understanding of client confidentiality.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work evenings weekends and national public holidays.
• Good understanding of hygiene best practice.
• Must adhere to salon standards of exceptional personal grooming, representing the Urban Retreat brand to the highest of standards
