Job Description

About the role:

You will be responsible of ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned as per the hotel standards, while ensuring the guest experiences are met at the highest standards, meeting the guests' need as required, and ensuring minimum of 18 rooms are turned around in a shift.

Key Accountabilities Include:
• At the start of the shift, setup trolleys with room linen, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and cleaning caddies in order to perform the designated task and to ensure high level of efficiency.
• Collect duty mobile, master keys and daily assignments sheets from the Supervisor to plan and perform their duties.
• Prioritze the room cleaning based on the business requirements or as allocated by the Supervisors.
• Change bed linen with fresh linen and replenish room supplies as per the Standard Operating Procedure.
• Clean bathrooms and replenish bathroom amenities according to the Standards of Performance and the safety standards of the Hotel
• Upon guest's request, tidy and arrange guest belongings, clean the room and bathroom in order to ensure compliance to the Leading Quality Assurance standards of the Hotel
• Vaccum Guest corridors, service pantries, service areas, linen rooms, staff locker room, break rooms and uniforms room, in order to ensure a professional and organized appearance
• Quarterly shampooing of carpets, and polishing of floors to ensure general upkeep and maintenance of facilities.
• Update status of each guestroom on the assignment sheet once the room is completely cleaned and supplies are replenished, in order to capture productivity.
• Report any maintenance related issues to the Engineering Department to ensure general upkeep and maintenance of facilities.
• Comply with the hotel SOP's on health and safety policies and procedures.
• Consider Guest needs and requirements when working in public areas and Guest rooms to ensure courtesy and Guest satisfaction
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
