Test Type: No Weld test required (In lieu of test 1 year of experience in shop required)

Join our team as a Welders Helper assisting in the layout fitting and fabrication of metal components for structural forms and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

What youll be doing:

• Assist in the layout fitting and assembly of structural forms such as machinery frames bridge parts and pressure vessels.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations especially in experimental scenarios.
• Inspect workpieces for defects measure for conformance and adjust components as needed.
• Operate various tools and equipment including acetylene equipment arc welders and cutting tools.
• Support quality engineering and continuous improvement efforts ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently.

MustHave Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques metallurgy and engineering requirements.
• Previous Weld Shop experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement in skill levels and experience.
