Job Description
Location: California
Work setup: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Represent employers and insurance companies
- Handle client correspondence and draft legal documents
- Attend court and manage case files
- Conduct depositions and negotiate settlements
- Supervise legal assistants and build client relationships
- Participate in marketing events and client meetings
- Track time in billing software and update case information
- Stay informed about employment law
Qualifications:
- Law degree
- Licensed to practice in California
- At least 15 years of experience in employment law including some experience in school district defense
- School district defense experience is required
