Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Tow and Transport Dispatching Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment. As a Tow and Transport Dispatching Operator you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching tow and transport requests ensuring timely and efficient service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations

Follow all safety protocols and procedures while loading securing and unloading vehicles

Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in safe working condition

Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of all tows and transports

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck

Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of the tow truck as needed

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License

Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug test

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and make decisions in highpressure situations

Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Receive and process incoming calls and requests for towing and transportation services

Gather all necessary information from customers including vehicle location type and destination

Dispatch appropriate tow truck or transport vehicle based on customer needs and availability

Communicate with drivers to provide them with detailed information about the job and any special instructions

Monitor and track the status of all active jobs to ensure timely completion

Handle any customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and provide resolution as needed

Maintain accurate records of all dispatches including customer information job details and driver assignments

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Follow all company policies procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Valid Drivers License

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and make decisions in highpressure situations

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in dispatching logistics or customer service preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong multitasking and time management abilities

Proficient in using dispatch software and other computer programs

Working Conditions:

This is a fulltime position and due to the nature of our business some evening weekend and holiday work may be required. The job may also involve sitting for extended periods working in a noisy environment and occasional exposure to outdoor elements.
