CORPORATE COMMERCIAL LAWYER

In continuation of its expansion and growth the company seeks a dynamic individual as the Corporate Commercial Lawyer.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate law commercial contracts compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Governance:

• Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory regulations.

• Draft review and update corporate governance documents including articles of incorporation bylaws and board resolutions.

Commercial Contracts:

• Draft review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including supply agreements service agreements NDAs and partnership agreements.

• Provide legal support for contract disputes and negotiations.

Legal Advisory:

• Provide legal advice to senior management and other departments on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and advise the business accordingly.

Dispute Resolution:

• Manage and resolve corporate and commercial disputes including litigation arbitration and mediation.

• Work with external counsel as needed.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including corporate commercial and securities laws.

• Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.

Candidates Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in law or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school.

• Knowledge of international corporate and commercial laws.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software

• Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate and commercial law preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law commercial contracts compliance and risk management etc. across diverse industries.
