We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on an exciting role in Plymouth with a toptier leisure operator in the Health & Fitness sector. This dynamic business is on a mission to become the citys preferred leisure destination offering outstanding facilities and service standards. If you are based around the South Coast you will know this venue asof one of the UKs most visited leisure centres. However you may be based elsewhere in the country and be interested in living by the sea. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

The Plymouth Life Centre boasts over 1.5 million customer visits annually as the General Manageryou will take full charge of the centres operations. This includes overseeing Heads of Departments (HODs) and driving the team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Youll lead by example with a strong focus on delivering topnotch service particularly in growing the fitness and swim school sectors.

Were seeking an inspiring motivated leader who thrives in a vibrant environment. Youll ensure that your team operates in a positive proactive atmosphere making the centre a welcoming place for all visitors. Working closely with senior leadership youll oversee a large team maintaining regular communication with the executive management.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification in Leisure Management Level 3 or equivalent
• 5 years of management experience in the leisure industry covering both pool and dryside operations
• At least 3 years of experience managing a busy community wellbeing facility or within the sports sector
• Proven track record of driving commercial success and service improvement
• Familiarity with managing facilities that meet Quest and other quality standards
