Housekeeper

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a residence located near London Ontario. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. This position is fulltime liveout Monday to Friday 9am5pm with flexibility.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced and wellrounded housekeeping professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You have a strong understanding of household hygiene and cleaning best practices. You have a good eye for detail and are comfortable working both while the family is home and away. You are comfortable cooking simple meals in the kitchen and helping with food preparation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily housekeeping to include dusting vacuuming kitchen and bathroom cleaning washing floors

Maintain household inventory prepare household inventory checklists

Preparing dinner for the family

Daily laundry occasional ironing and steaming follow washing instructions for certain fabrics

Trash and recycling management

Occasional driving of principals

Running errands grocery shopping and other provisioning as needed

Cover and uncover outdoor furniture

Special projects include but not limited to quarterly deep cleans household cupboard reorganization fridge deep cleaning

Light pet care as required

Other duties as required from time to time

Applicant Qualities:

Must have previous experience working in a semiformal residence

Excellent housekeeping laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces

Must be comfortable around both dogs and cats

Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times exercise diplomacy discretion and respect of boundaries

Applicants must be service oriented with excellent English communication skills

A valid full G drivers license

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
